Google Analytics - 1.5 by querschlaeger

I tried several of the Google Analytics plugins here but none of them worked correctly. The Turkish one only worked on the default theme, and Thor's didn't work.

This one works just fine even on non-default themes.

I got it to load in my plugins but after I put in my tracking code nothing happens.

Analytics says Tracking Not Installed.

I have several other sites in my Analytics and they are tracked just fine.

Works, but what about asynchronous loading?

This only works with mybb 1.4, with 1.6 Analytics says Tracking Not Installed.

Edit: Ok so i have just discovered it's now working fine and just takes a while for google to show the information :)

If you seriously need a plugin to use Google Analytics instead of just pasting the code for it onto your forum's header template, then I feel sorry for you.

This plugin is a waste.

For anyone who wanna use Google Analytics just go to ADMIN -> TEMPLATES -> SELECT UR TEMPLATE -> HEADER TEMPLATES -> PASTE CODE ON from the 1'st line. The code should look like this:

Code:
<script type="text/javascript">

  var _gaq = _gaq || [];
  _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-YOURACCOUNTNUMBER-HERE']);
  _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']);

  (function() {
    var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true;
    ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js';
    var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s);
  })();

</script>

Save, and that's it. You don't need a plugin for this

Julian above is right, but put the code in the FOOTER template, not in the header. MyBB dev pavemen explains why at http://community.mybb.com/thread-126921-...#pid919086
