I like very much this plugin.
It works fine for me (you can see it here: http://mybbromania.com/usermap.php) but when I use it with another plugin , MyPlaza (by ZiNgA BuRgA), options to set in AdminCP --> Users and Groups (Manage Groups) --> Can View User Map disappear !
In this case you can set permission in phpMyAdmin (in table _usergroups -> field canviewusermap "Yes" or "No").
Anyway... this is one of my favorites plugins.

Doesn't work.

If you have any issues with install:
- SQL Error -
1. Go to inc/plugins/usermap.php
2. Find: TYPE=MyISAM".$db->build_create_table_collation().";");
3. Change it to: ENGINE=MyISAM".$db->build_create_table_collation().";");
4. Then install and activate.

- API Key Set up -
1. This should explain how to set up the API Key: https://developers.google.com/maps/signup
2. After you set up the key log into your Admin Control Panel for your MyBB forum, and go to "Templates & Styles", click "Global Templates", and find the template "usermap", click it to start edit.
3. Find: var map = true;
4. Change it to: var map = new google.maps.Map(document.getElementById("map-canvas"),mapOptions);
5. Save the template.

- Setting your API Key -
1. In your ACP (Admin Control Panel) go to "Configuration" -> "Usermap Options". Copy the API key you set up for the google map, and paste it in the appropriate section.
2. Click "Save Settings" and you're done ;D
